Yeah they'r pretty shit I find after about one hundred shots there's a lot of grit and crap in the action Andy fills up the silencer something chronic!

In terms of noise, I am shotting CCI's 40gr subsonics hollowpoint, it doesn't make much difference to me whether its on or off, I'd be looking for a much better silencer when I save some dollars to spare.
$40 bux. wait it out save and get something better I think.

I just put the latest generation Dan Hardy can on my .22lr and it's as quiet an my old heavy steel MAE but the hardly weighs nothing and barely sticks out. The Hardy is a dream to clean as well.
