@res2 so you used Jacindabux to buy another "prohibited" firearm... sweet! Did you get it on a P endorsement?
I assumed the Tavor was in .22LR but internet says it either 5.56 or .300 BLK.

Are you planning on using it out of a machine or for ground hunting?

Today I was culling goats & pigs in a QE2 covenant and really missing my AR... sigh.

I have left NZ and bought this in my new country of residence , Ill be using it with the 4x browe scope for service rifle shoots and a 1-8 Trijicon for sort of hunting that I would have used a AR for excluding varmenting as its not quite as accurate
the fool known as res got locked out of his account so made this one

Had a Crack out of my Brown Bess today.I don't have the right mold but 12 gauge slugs patched up with straps from an old pillowcase worked well enough.

The Pistol was made by Cogswell, I wasn't going to fire it but its bore is 12 so I sent a few slugs out of it over a light charge.

Newest addition to the Swiss Straight Pull Rifle Collection - the grand pappy of all those that followed....

M1889 Swiss Schmidt Rubin (and technically the only Swiss straight pull that can be called a Schmidt Rubin) made in 1893. Never refurbished, hopefully I look as good at 128 years old...

In longrange riflery, trajectory is the pure science part. Gravity is a constant for our purposes.
Wind is in the art department.
    Light is pure fucking voodoo.

I picked this up a few months back and wasn’t happy with the length. It’s a Remington 700 LVSF. I had it cut down to 18” and changed the gunworks suppressor to a dpt. I also changed the ammo from H&F bulk to fiochi. One of the changes (or all of them) worked a treat. After sighting it in I shot this group. Now good to snot some wallabies and goats

Sunrise.....sunset and so the cycle continues

I been a bit quiet on here and gave myself a bit of a reality check when I tallied up how much I had invested in rifles
So as nice as it was to have the nice spendy ones they have made way for some nice less spendy ones.

First up a model 7 in 708 that has now been chopped to 17" fitted with a mk1 DPT suppressor.and Nikon monarch 2.5-10×40 scope sitting in talley rings.

And a christiansen arms carbon barreled howa 1500 in .223 toppee with a Nikon monarch 4-16×44.
This bad boy puts fiocchi 55gn soft points into 1/2 3 shot groups at 100 yards, not a fan of the super heavy laminate stock so that may change if something lighter shows up at the right price and time.

Just wanna say thanks to the good forum bastards that helped make both these rifles possible with the cracking deals I got on here and the help in getting them here in one way or another. You all know who you are.
