@Sasquatch picked up my wifi cannon in 308 and brought the barrel separately after seeing one (maybe yours?) in the shop.

Trigger kit from bellm sorts the atrocious factory trigger right out.

If reloading with 2205, be wary of lot to lot variation. I worked up a load with a 300gr at ~2150fps. Switched to a new tub of 2205 and the same amount produced ~2300fps which starts getting a bit violent. It's not so bad with irons but with a scope you gotta pay attention.

Factory Remington Defense M24, not a clone.
Chambered in 7.62 NATO, correct as issued Harris Bi-pod, Mark 4 steel med 30mm rings, and Mark 4 3.5-10x40 TMR Illuminated scope with M3 turrets.
(Original SWS issue scope was a fixed 10x Mark 4 with M3 turrets and mil-dot reticle, but this scope was seen on the odd one later in life as they used them on the M110 etc...)
    Black is good!

The rifles had front and rear mounts for precision iron sigths.
Just in case you wanted to shoot an NRA long range match whilst deployed... I dont think would have ever been used.

You wont be disappointed (after you have lightened up the trigger). Ive had one for 30 years as an every day shooter when I was doing rabbit control in central otago and have put 1000's of rounds through it, shoots as straight as an arrow.

The only thing that is disappointing with it now is that 10 rounds just dont last long enough.

    Nice purchase.

Well some pics of a rifle I have had for a while but only just got out of the safe and mounted a scope last year. Volquartson .22LR. Nice workmanship and shoots very well. I have one in .22 WMR with a hogue stock but this hasn't had a scope mounted yet. Also got a two stage Kidd trigger set to try. Will change this out and try it sometime soon.

Picked this little full up off @Beavis
Weighs 2.9 kg as pictured. Should make a nice wee carry rifle

Nick, very nice rifle & calibre which will serve you well!

Exactly what do you have on your scope elevation turret?

One of the Leupold factory s1 screw on dial turrets. Seems to work sweet, although maybe a bit overkill on the old 6 power vx3 haha
