    Congratulations Thomas. The first of many I am sure. Expect VC to congratulate you on your choice of calibre.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Yeah same! Once I get it sighted in ill have to put some pics up! Not to worried if it's not "sub moa" as it'll be mainly used in the bush! So hitting targets at really long distances isn't of much concern..

    Haha thanks guys! Wasn't to hard choosing caliber! But with so many different rifles out there it got a bit confusing. In the end I went with the ruger because it felt good! And had abit more weight to it than something like a tikka also didn't like all the plastic on them!

    Wont go far wrong with that choice, Mate has the earlier model in 243 and is the roughest cu%t you ever met with rifles.
    Still works still shoots well.
    "Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

    Yeah this came with a Pentax gameseeker II which will be fine for now! I got some 150gr fusion, so I'll see how these go and if noo good I'll try setting else!ighy have to get in to reloading =]

    Btw you ruger looks nice in wood!

    @thomas - excellent choice of caliber
    @stuart - wicked little rifles those M1 carbines. I used one for IPSC 3-gun, nice and easy to reload for as well.
