CAA mount at this stage, maybe a PEPR and just a leupold vx1 2-7x33, should be a well suited scope

This is reasonably light with a 16" standard weight barrel. ( I no nothing about AR's by the way)
get some of the PRI 6.8 "waffle" mags, they allow a longer OAL for loaded rounds

You don't need too know that much they are quite simple, and you can't stop at one neither. I had 5 till I met VC and then a certain KG and am down to 2 with new toy on the way (What can a man do with 5 ARs you can;t do with 2 ) 2 Have transformed into good U/O shotties and one into a (god forbid) Bolt action with a bit more ommmmph than a .223 . I have not owned one of these for 20+ years so its gonna be a re-learning curve remembering to work the bolt thingy

I'm pretty much at a point where I am running one bolt gun and two AR's. Does everything I want.

should've skipped the turnbolt and gone straight to the contemporary design, Blaserrrr

The manual recommends to only run CCI minmags. It comes with two springs, a strong one for high velocity ammo and a weaker one for standard. I use the weaker one and feed it whatever's cheapest. Yes, it is a bit fickle with the cheap stuff. I mostly use Winchester 555 which seems to only have just enough energy to cycle the slide. Any variables that aren't in its favour (dirty chamber, weak grip) and it'll short stroke. When clean it'll run 99% with cheap ammo. Also runs more reliably with the can on it.

I do like it, but if I was to buy again I'd probably just get a ruger 22/45 or MK. While the Sig has a lot of features for the money, a ruger is better quality.
