Now someone buy this http://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co.n...79/#post224674 so I can get my suppressor for it

Haha it only just fits in that case by about 1cm because of the scope
Well I formed some more brass this evening cause I felt 21 wasn't enough so did another 21. Using winchester super x 140gr got this little group. Should kept shooting paper after I done that to see if I could do better but once zeroed I started shooting across the river at mud cause mud blows up. Will post up a video of some shots later.

Is it normal to get clean patches 4th time round. The first time I shot it I was shooting 3 shots clean and so on for 23 rounds. This time I shot 21 and never cleaned in between and gave it a quick clean at the end and it only took 4 patches to come out pretty clean

That just depends on the particular barrel Toby. I have some barrels that come out clean after 3 patches and some that take 20+ and never come out truly clean.

Oil dry oil dry. I have never tried again in the morning not that fussy about it. I assumed it was clean when the 4th patch had next to no dirty look and a quick look in the barrel to see it shiny shiny

I run bore tech eliminator through mine. First patch takes out most of the carbon, then the rest is till the copper is gone.
I only clean them out every 50 rounds or so and keep logs on how many rounds through all my barrels and when they were cleaned etc.
In between they get oil to stop rusting.

Any variables that aren't in its favour (dirty chamber, weak grip) and it'll short stroke. When clean it'll run 99% with cheap ammo. Also runs more reliably with the can on it.

I do like it, but if I was to buy again I'd probably just get a ruger 22/45 or MK. While the Sig has a lot of features for the money, a ruger is better quality.
Cheers ta. I picked one up from DeadEye Dicks and have only put a few rounds thru it with CCI SV with the softer spring installed. Just waiting for a DPT suppressor then time to have some plinkin' fun. Bit different to shoot than my CZ and cheaper.

Does a flash suppressor serve any usefull purpose for a civilian?

Yeah, it reduces muzzle flash/blast and some muzzle rise from recoil without being horrifically obnoxious like a brake. Also in that case, allows QD suppressor to attach

A bare muzzle with no device is much worse to shoot/be near

Interesting, never seen one up close and had always thought they would be like a brake that didn't work.

Helps protect NV gear, offers a QD option for certain suppressors
