Horrible things. I used to have something similar to that as a serv. rifle. Mine was the second from left. Hated it.

Heavy, too loud and if you set it to full auto the 4th round ended up in the sky.

Or maybe am just too weak
Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.

    The 6.5 put together

The stock and rings/bases turned up this week so I have thrown it together with a 3-9 I had lying around.

I am pretty impressed with the boyds stock, fit is precise and has a really nice finish. Shame you cant go over the $100 mark as I would have liked to have added some checkering.
Also impressed with the finish on the howa action, much higher standard than anything else I picked up in the price range.

The idea was to buy new glass (prob bushy elite 3-16) and a DPT can, but am considering putting up with the extra bang, and lower quality optics (quite like the Nikon 3-9 as chunting option anyway) spending the cash on a reloading setup instead.

When the current feckin hurricane blows itself out I might actually get a chance to go break her in.

Cheers for all who gave me advice on the choosing of calibre ect.
