    Latest project completed

    Left hand Tikka 595 in 7mm-08 ( :-X)

    Bedded and floated.

    Barrel and action duracoated.

    Stripped stock and oiled.

    Chopped to 16.5 inches, threaded and suppressed by DPT.

    Only sighted in last night so havent really tested grouping. But it will be a dedicated bush rifle so tight grouping wont be critical.

    Rough photo;

    Will test it on some redskins this weekend 8-)

    Cheers

    Looks good Josh. Tell me will you lose the suppressor before going bush? It looks a bit long to me.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    No Rushy. Its actually shorter overall than the original length of the barrel before we choppped it. Plus I will be shooting over my dog, so suppressor is needed for that

    I like the QD mount, a little high but good for transport.
