    Yea is real slow 2425 ave over oehler. That's fine for out to 400m tho since it's so accurate. I shot it at 550m and the wind was blowing a steady 10mph and still managed a 3 1/2" 5 shot group. It's one of those things where you just forget about the velocity number and enjoy putting your projectile on target, also enjoy the massively extended barrel life.

    Had 1000rds of the stuff your shooting sitting at my place untill the owner took it away this morning.
    By the look of your shooting I should have tried to nic some and stuff the rest of the box with paper.

    Have you cut your barrel LR.
    I had possession of a brand new R8 yesterday, met the deliverer at the local, and he promptly cut 2" off the end of the barrel, straight out of the box, damn.
    Frigging glad it wasn't mine.

    Na my barrels not cut. I actually pay the ridiculous price to have the factory thread the barrel. The blaser isn't really lightweight or real handy so I don't see cutting a couple of inches off making much difference practically, but we all use them differently so each to ones own I guess.

    Is it me the computer/camera or is that how it is? Looks like patches of carbon stuck on the butt kinda thing

    Nah, that's how they are @Toby If you are using IE, zoom in 400% for a close look.
