Was using it for long range hunting with a 308win 7-8 years ago now just for range work. They work grate if you have plenty of time to setup but a rear bag is quicker in a rushed shot.
Cant remember who I got it from sorry?

Here is another picture of the same stock - it was a custom inlet (A7) from McMillan - the colour is black with grey speckeltone.

Not a new rifle but finally got around to putting a Spear Mags A-Cat stock on my Mossberg MMR Hunter. Fairly straight forward swap and comfortable to handle.

DPMS / Panther Arms have just released a Gen2 so these are on sale - USD $1,150 out the door at Cabelas.

DPMS LR-308 Hunter, SS 16" barrel, 2 stage trigger and CF hand guard. Will eventually need a NZ A-Cat stock on this puppy also.

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

It's always been a dream of mine to own one of these and today that became reality. I present the FN FAL:

I don't know much about its history as it is from a deceased estate but it's a genuine FN, from between Nov 1971 to 1973. Suspect it is an Austrian FN as it has the Austrian coat of arms stamped into some components and appears to have a StG 58 stock.

The aftermarket upper receiver is wearing a ZOS 10-40x50 scope with illuminated reticle, Tapco pistol grip. Not sure what the story is with the barrel - initially thought it was a Para (50.63) but they have different receivers to the fixed stock versions.

Just my Savage .308 in a McMillan stock, Sightron scope. I stole the suppressor from @Nibblet and had it fitted today. He's had my reloading gear 18+ months so I think it's fine. There's something I love about this rifle, never going to sell it.

Only the lower, bolt carrier and dust cover is different for a para.

If you want to make yours a para-I have the said bits-would take about 30 seconds to swap over
