My new um, ah, um "toy". Sumthing to shoot while I am waiting for my lightweight Super dooper rootin tootin shooters barrel to cool down between groups.
M700 SA in a hogue stock with TF barrel courtsey of KiwiGreg, It was originally a 204Ruger but we soon fixed that !!

in 6.5TCU just to be different and cause I have an absolute shitload of .223 brass and small rifle primers looking for something to do, and I am too lazy to buy cleaning gear in a different calibre
Weight is just a shade more than "lots"

What twist is the barrel? And what pills are you shooting? The 6.5 v-max should be working good with that (girly) caliber :-)
Where is the suppressor for it?

I think twist is 1-8. Have som 100gn Sierra HPs to try and 123 Amaxs. The TCU cartridges have VERY long throats so silloettue shooters can use all the "powder room" they can get as they need to knock over a 50lb target at 500m
NRA High Power Rifle Silhouette Long Range Steel Target Sizes and Distances
I can seat a 123gn with base of bullet level with neck of case. Gentleman overseas is getting 2550fps with a 140Amax. I wanted it for a general fun gun but it might be better than I had hoped. Havent fired a shot yet,

No safe queens these two, R5 .308 chopped to 20", bedded, jewel trigger. Bushy LRH 3-12 & AR-15 DDV7LW upper RockRiver Lower, Leupold 3-9 X 40 VXR Patrol. Both with Dpt Cans.
Hardly ever use bipods apart from at the range. The new mono-pod on the Ar looks rude, but is great to shoot off and going to put it to good use next week hopefully!

i had been trying to sell it for awile but since i had no luck im geussing it was just to long to heavy and in a bit of an odd cal so i pm'd abe (tuiman2) to find out my options

    here is the result
    *tikka T3 action
*trueflite um 1/8 twist 22.5 inch fluted Chambered for 260rem
*DPT over barrel (when i can afford one) abe has threaded it ready to go

will be putting my vx3 4-14x40 B&C on it

abe done be a good trade on my barrel as some of the cost so only set me back a few hundy

will be getting a better stock at some stage but run out of money for now
