Got something with a little more push than the 243. A Zastava in 7mm Rem Mag with suppressor and a new pair of trousers to attach when I get a chance to inlet for the safety and do a bedding job.

Then to do a bit of load development and shoot the thing.

Decided to make over my REM 308 sps and put on a H S Presion stock and new trigger guard.
Seems to fit darn well, shoots ok with what we can gather with a shit rest last night to see how it goes. No recoil pad thou so have to get one, anyone got a recommended one to get? Don't think I really need a limp saver thou but maybe. Looks like plastic pad on end is glued on, cheers

@Jexla What trigger are you getting?

I just fitted the Hiperfire enhanced duty. A steal at USD $85 from Brownells compared to double that and more for 'match triggers'.

Best AR trigger I have ever used, I have the SSA-E if I remember correctly.

The milspec trigger that came with my Colt AR was terrible.

Well at last it has arrived...

Rebuild on a Ruger LA re-created to be a 6.5 x .284 with 22" barrel 1-8 twist, Boyds Laminate in Jacaranda glass bedded, MAE Compact Suppressor, with a Vortex Viper 4-16x50 EBR-1 MOA scope...

I also have the original Ruger Skeleton stock with the walnut inserts, so I can change it to be a little lighter...

Tomorrow will be some sighting in before we go chasing Sika over the weekend...

All the barrel, chambering, bead blasting and so on has been done by Hugh at Stager Sport, and a fine job I might say, fingers crossed she's a top shooter...
