    This old but nearly mint mod 7 in .243 arrived this morning. Now to make sure it shoots well, before surprising my father with it/gifting to him, can't wait to see his reaction.

    Only THE best battle rifle ever made. I'd like to add a L1A1 to compliment its Metric cousin. They are still used (in a modified format) as a DMR by the South African army and for various functions by the South African Police / Special Task Force.
