Chathams has good wild cattle (I have climbed a tree once or twice when hearing them or big pigs). And there was an outfit out of Whanganui advertising cattle hunts...write up a few years ago in one of the hunting mags.

@LOC get hold of some Woodleigh projectiles, only $100 for 50. Will keep the price down a bit. I'm keen for a Wild Cattle hunt in NZ if you can find any.

Theres a few bulls that have free reign of the P***** riverbed down here if you want some beef @223nut, they are owned by a farmer, but he thinks its ok to have shoddy fences so they have no respect even for good fences and they roam wherever they want, also none of them are tagged, and you would be doing me a favour by moving them on. In the interest of neighborly relationships I have not put lead into them yet, but I am not real happy about them coming down the riverbed and into our property and shagging our heifers year after year....
