Browning A-Bolt-3 308-Winchester - bolt, rifle, new, accuracy, recoil, ndash, ab3, ... - Serious Shooters

Just picked up one of these I have an affinity with Browning and like the 308 caliber.
Need to go back to composite stocks as I give everything I have a very hard life bush bashing so no point in having a walnut stock.

I did ask Gun City to match or better this price no reply ;-)

    Hey Rossi ,

    It's a Bushnell AR optic

    http://bushnell.com/all-products/rif...tics/2-7x-32mm.

I really enjoy the optic and performs very well .

Do not do much long range shooting with her , I am actually looking to move this set up on , I want to purchase a centre fire setup to do longer range shooting and Varminting .

I've never seen a lever quite like that before. It doesn't look very comfortable to cycle the action, but I assume I'm wrong?

ill get back with some info on performance when i get a chance . . . its not lookn good for the next few weeks for anything serious but i do have enough ammo that came with the rifle to check zero and have a play

from what i can gather on the net .5MOA should be achievable with the varmint model . . . i got a few hundred bullets with dies, cases but sadly they're 40grn projectiles, 32s are supposedly a better choice for getting the best accuracy potential with the 1-10 twist of this barrel.
i ordered a bunch of 32grn VMax that i hope will be the one . . max speed is what i am after, with good accuracy to reach out there.

what is your singleshot/caliber northdude ?

My workhorse just got a makeover and loosing half its weight in the process

308 Weatherby Vanguard sitting in its new STUG stock. now off to DPT in early May for a shortening to 20" and a over barrel suppressor and then on with the optics.

    Can't recommend STUG enough!
