Gun Porn, show off your new toys

Top - tikka t3 300wsm, nightforce shv 3-10, maniatis flutted bolt and barrel, maniatis Carbon wrapped suppressor, 20in bbl, 178 ELD-M @ 2920fps

    Bottom - rem 700 308, leupy vx6 2-12, milled action (to fit stock I had), maniatis Carbon wrapped suppressor, 16in bbl, 178 ELD-M @ 2460fps - holds 1000ft-lb to 600y

Only thing I'm thinking of doing is adding a stug stock to the tikka

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

So, after eight and half months I have now had my Sako fetish fix for 2017.

2017 seemed like a good year to get a rifle in this calibre for some reason? Undecided on optics at the moment.

    They look good.

@Smiddy what are the maniatis suppressors like? Why did you go for them? Would you recommended? I'm thinking about a non carbon one for my 223. They are only 3" forward and 280 gems.

Also, I tried R17 and 168 grn Noslers in my 20" 300saum today - went straight to 3100 fps and.75 moa. Pleased.

Yep they are good, quieter on the wsm than the hushpower one was I had, holding up well in the wsm, yep id recommend - well am happy with mine. I've know Greg since I've started hunting, he does my fluteing etc- told me he had these new model out so I bought a couple off him.

That's good velocity, I'm using 2209, I think would go faster with n550 and rl17 but 2209 easy to get and its accurate

Tell him he needs to work on his bedside manner. I called him once to ask about a build and it was like talking to a rock

Yea he doesn't do rifle builds, that might be why, but that's your job to tell him that not mine
