I just added up what I have on the T3 and ended up at 3.5K, scary how it all ads up. Scope, bipod, stock, sling etc etc
7k+ in my sako, 2.5k as far as wife is concerned
Sure is scary how fast it all adds up. I got a bit carried away last year with rifles and forgot you don't need a vx6 and 3k gun to put meat on the table as a result I'm trying to do a sub $1000 bush/LR rig, So far I'm at:
Remington Model 7 7mm08 - $450
Talley Rings - $99
Vortex crossfire 2-7 $250
Reloading bits $155 (dies, brass, pills)
So far I have a buffer of $54
A Model 7 for $450? That sounds like good buying.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
To justify the big expenditure on rifle, scope and gear to my wife I say it's a tool and 30 to 50 deer a year soon cover the costs in meat for us, even the cats eat 5 or 6kgs of venison a week.
It's just money. It's why we go to work.
