@llewelyn so by ladder test do you mean you are upping the charge & trying to get it shooting flatter ?

@Boaraxa yip up the charge and youll find a "node" where three or four charge levels are very close thats the best vibration node for your barrel.

Hope this works ,was just reading up on how to post a photo on this forum so thought I would have a crack. It does seem a lot easier than over on the other forum.
This is my ole Browning BLR 308 of course ! had it for nearly 30yrs. The DPT can is a fairly recent addition which has given it a new lease of life as the barrel has suffered from something called corrosion, so getting a chop and a recrown has improved its accuracy .
Scope is an older model leupy vx111 2.5-8 x36 only about 12yrs old Cheers

Nice. You expecting to have to compromise on projectile choice in the short action?

The 162 grn Amax work at magazine length. SSNZ lengthened the box and carved a bit of metal work. Its a great job. (I'm Craig's Dad - and happy to speak on his behalf )

Yeah, good stocks, they come standard on the Howa Mountain Rifles. Was yours green to start with?

My New to me Marlin MR 7 25-06 that I bought off GSPhunter.

Popped a Burris FF2 3-9 x40 for the time being.

A real pity more of these weren't made!
