I wanted to build something on the 308 case so decided on the 260 improved.
This one is built on a brand new T3 Tikka with a Limbsaver & 23" Vulcan barrel.
It has a fluted bolt & barrel.
It performs pretty well with the 140 amax, the only projectile I have tried.
Thats a pretty nice speed, it will go faster but it a bit harder on the brass.
Quite a neat useful little longish range round with the 140s
I might have a play with the 120 GMX or 130 Sirocco.

Nice!! KG will have to get some pics up of mine doing the same thing I like that speed between 28 and 29 seems to suit well. What powder?
how do you like the vulcan barrels they seem well priced?
It's better looking than the other 2 anyway. Looks like a tikka looks
What adi powder you settle on? I found r17 good to get speed and went
N165
R22
Ar2213
In that order with 165 been the best of them in the 7 I done so. Interesting to see how you got on tho. . . .

Just a wee note, it has been pointed out to me that my mag appears to be a 20, its not, its A cat in accordance with my FAL. I wanted it to look as God intended for the photos so I didn't properly insert the as shipped NEA 5rd mag. Maybe a douche thing to do but hindsight is a bitch huh.
Slow is Smooth, Smooth is Fast.
yes ive noticed that KG, ill give it a good clean and then first one is a flyer then it settles down after that.Iim onto my 4 and 5th firing of my lapau brass so next weeknd ill be really interested in how much more accuracy and speed and consistancy ill be getting looking forward to it.
