The original bushpig - Winchester Model 94 Trapper, 30-30win. 16 inch barrel, overall length 860mm (tape measure is set at legal minimum for a rifle).
Not exactly new, I bought it 31 years ago, but it about to have a scope for the first time.

How do you get on putting a scope on a top eject?

I'll let you know in a week or two!
It is an angle eject model, but with low rings I'm not sure the angle will be enough. The rifle was factory drilled and tapped for scope bases, so Winchester reckoned it would work.
A Leupold VX Hog 1-4 x 20 is going on it, if it doesn't work out it will replace the cheapish 2.5 x 20 i have on another rifle. The Trapper has always had open sights for shooting bailed pigs, so I could see where the dogs were. No dogs now and eyesight getting worse, so now it gets the scope.
