Well been a busy wee time getting a few of the rifles sorted...

First off the bat is the new (to me) Ruger No.1 in .204...

This is a great little single shot, getting some loads sorted and a new Vortex PST Gen II sorted for it. 26" heavy barrel, suppressed, so the little critters had better watch out...

Finally got my 6.5x.284 back, has a new Boyds stock (adjustable Comb) has been bedded, trigger job at 1.5lb rail fitted so the Vortex Razor can sit atop, and nicely silenced with an A-Tec Suppressor.

My other little project has been the Ruger 96/22 WM with interchangable .17 HMR barrel, new Boyds stock, suppressed and Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16 on top, great little combo...

And the trusty Ruger .22-250, has the new Boyds and Vortex Viper PST Gen II, needs a bedding & trigger job, and is getting a new 1:8 barrel...

Another Ruger, surprise surprise... 96/22 LR, all set up for the pests about the house, Cerakote job to follow, yes again a Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12x42...

The Ruger .243 is back from being shortened and the Ruger .300 Blaser is away for Load development... Will update as there'll be a bit of Cerakote going on these...

Glass is a Simmons AETEC 3.8x12x44 with a Burris Fastfire III. Just installed the 15 inch AP Custom carbon fiber tube. Barrel is a Daniel Defense S2W 18 inch Midlength 1/7. Stock is Colt "CS" from a Canadian C7. It is A1 length built with A2 specs.

All that is missing is a Harris bi-pod.

Well, my dad earns a living with his rifles and they've been Rugers as far back as I can remember so there must be something there

Don't have a scale mate, Armalite lists the stock rifle at 7.9lbs. I have pitched the trash gas block(big, heavy) it comes with and replaced with an Armaworx low pro adjustable. There are a few other things I intend to do. As it is it feels a crap load lighter than most .308 AR's, a toy compared to other semi auto .308 rifles.

I like it. I have Zhukov stock on my 5.56 Yugo and a ton of Magpul stuff on my ARs.

The Zhukov stock makes it worthwhile to have an AK.
