Mitch Maxbury builds them for single shot target rifles he did a couple with mags for me.
I've had the first one for 5 or 6 years. Very accurate.

    I keep a S&W Model 669 as a truck gun.

    Always rides in my truck.

Wife has a S&W Model 642 in her car on a 24/7 basis.

That is what we carry. That rotates daily.

If you read our regulations and interpret them "loosely", then you can handle and perhaps wear your handgun within the confines of your dwelling. You could perhaps argue the definition of "dwelling". But if ammunition was present you would have a lot of questions to answer.
Regarding handgun hunting, it doesn't exist legally here. Whole properties don't get approved for ranges.
You've got the right word...'legally...'for handgun hunting aspect

How many people do you think drive around like that? I'm glad that most of us don't have any reason to feel like we need to keep a handgun in our vehicle for personal protection.

And that mate is a very good point ....Road rage incidents are a major issue with handguns in many states......I don’t think there is a day that you don’t hear of pistols being drawn over something fucking pathetic....

Hell, I carried my Glock 22 Gen 4 and my buddy carried his SA 1911 National Match openly while we were at the local Waffle House in Thomasville, Georgia.

I always have a pistol on me when hunting. Hogs are mean jerks and sometimes a pistol is needed. Had to put a hog down or two with a pistol.
The closest we get to hand gun hunting is solids shot from a very sawn off shotgun.

We mainly use a pack of dogs and a pig sticker for pig hunting.

Quite glad I live in Florida. Don't need no permit to own and don't have to register anything. Keeping a gun in the car is just as legal as having one in the house.

I have a few toys that I think some folks here would like to have. But hey.... I'm a member on this forum for a reason. It isn't so I can hog how awesome I have it. It is more so I can share and learn at the same time.

You still have to register your SBRs, suppressors and full autos though, don't you? Don't need to register SBRs and suppressors here, and full autos are way cheaper

Partially correct....I have one(suppressor)....Oregon ,6 ,months,...still shitty deal, word is trump is going to relax those restrictions,...YEAH RIGHT!

In Miami,s defense, try not to drag this situation through the mud,and I’m not trying to make it political.I’m lucky that I live under both “houses,”,I spend 6 months in Kiwi,6 in the states.I grew up under the Kiwi situation.Yeah it’s great that little ol Kiwi is wrapped in cotton-wool,far away from the violent world we live in,....we all know that’s changing, and I certainly don’t want the yank situation of handguns in everyone’s vehicles either.Miami has a reason to carry,I personally carry.Just look at the number of fuckwits in Kiwi who carry, knives, softball bats, chains, crowbars in there vehicles, for so-called protection or intimidation......if that’s news to you, then you need to get out more often.

New Zealand’s mindset towards firearms is totally the opposite of what most yanks have......I change my mindset every time I’m on Kiwi soil as opposed to US soil,( and I’m only talking about these two countries).Miami lives in a system he didn’t create,he works with it,he,like me (I hope) doesn’t go looking for trouble ,but when it occurs,he has the ability to defend himself and his whanau(that concept is no different than in Kiwi).I certainly don’t want to see Kiwi go The American way at all,we are not that “type”,but ours guns laws in Kiwi,as in the states is in shambles, very hard to turn the clock back and rectify the cockups these Govt have made, and the situations it’s put us in.

By the way Miami, nice piece, mate, very nice,I pack a Springfield Armoury,45 semi-auto,Range master,4in barrel.I have a lot of my kiwis mates come over, and not one of them has ever protested about having a handgun available when we tiki-tour.......different strokes for different folks,.......when in in Spain

If your ever in Oregon, look me up,I fly into Miami often.....
