Got this one back from the gunsmith a couple weeks back. Went out for it's first (unsuccessful but enjoyable nonetheless) hunt at the weekend.

@Mort123 - How'd you mod your bolt like that? Looks like a decent amount of weight taken out of it + fluting

@Friwi @Ryan_Songhurst - my bolt is actually currently with Gunworks being fluted, I called the lady yesterday and can confirm that they skeletonize the bolt handle too. (for my remington700) It's just not on the site.

Massive shout out to the guys at Southfort Labs in Cambridge.. https://www.southfortlabs.com/

First they donated this stock to a worthy cause couple years ago at Sika Show.

I went in to the bucket with my offer and won the bidding !

Been sitting round since but finally came up with a cunning plan to get it slightly modded and bedded for my Stumpy .308

Once again Southfort to the rescue. Mint job of the bedding plus shortening the CF Stock. Great service no mucking about with these guys, they know their stuff..

    Attachment 91621

Nice and short.. Few little extras. Shooting 125 gr slighty compressed loads very well @ 2850 IIRC.

Total weight as in pics = 3.7 kgs

    Attachment 91622

Could get it lighter but the scope suits my glasses well. Looking forward to sighting it in
What length barrel is that mate? Is that paint scheme a wrap or something? Looking at doing the same thing to a Tikka 308 I have lying around.
