How did it shoot @dannyb ?
Shoots Sako factory 150gn powerheads at 1/4 moa that's gonna be a hard act to follow when I get my brass and projectiles next week to work up a 162gn eldm load, I think I will dabble in the 180gn eldm as well at some stage. Its silky smooth to cycle feeds and ejects flawlessly and the sako trigger is exactly what you would expect I've got it down to about 1.5lbs and it breaks like glass.
XM-3 clone, but in .223 instead of .308.
Based on Remington 700 223 Tactical as it had the correct barrel profile, just needed to be shortened 1.5" to 18.5".
McMillan stock, with Badger Ordnance 20moa rail, Badger front rail, Badger M5 DBM (not clone correct as they used internal magazine only), Custom Twin Needle clone correct stock pack, NF Ultralight low 30mm rings with NF 4-14 F1 SHV MilR scope (Clone correct scope is a NF NXS 3-15), Harris 6-9 bipod with pod-lok and ODL 30cal 2-port brake instead of the Surefire thing.
The XM-3 brought to you by the mad scientists at DARPA
Great looking clone @grunzter
So I picked up a couple of rifles over the lockdown. This is the 1st and most versatile I'd say. Remington 300wsm, 22" dpt can and stug stock ,vx5 3-15 firedot. Shoots the vld 175 well too.
New to me sako 85 6.5x55 with a wood hunter stock fitted, thinking of putting a vx5 on it to make not so top heavy

Sometimes it’s the small rifles that charm. I have a few Brnos and was scoping my model 5 yesterday. Forgot how nice these fit and feel. Nice stick of tiger stripe timber to boot.
The other photo is my Remington 541S. Just put a period Micro trac engraved Weaver scope on it with engraved Weaver rings. Matches nicely the engraving on the rifle itself.
