That was a steal, very under-rated rifles here in NZ super nice action and lightweight to boot. Not a fan of the stocks but that can be changed. Good score!

Funny thing is I love the Monte Carlo Stock, but I get theyre not for everyone. But that action and trigger are just amazing.

All good my man, it's a "thing" in some US forums to include such in posting pics.

257 Weatherby magnum, with an Element helix 6-24x50. Very capable rig that absolutely flattens Sika and pigs!

    Back from the gunsmith yesterday
    My 2nd 38-50 rolling block
Im really enjoying this caliber for long range bpcr shooting
A lot less recoil than the 40’s and 45’s but still shoot extremely well right out to 750 and beyond

My dad and I fight over the 38 as my 45/70 while accurate as it boots like a mule with the 550gn pills
So now we have a 38 each and the 45 will only get used beyond 800 where it’s needed

Size: 82.8 KB This has been my dream rifle in the making for awhile now, finished off the load development and sighted it in today after mounting the VX6. Super happy with the results, shots were taken at 100 yards from bi-pod as I wanted to sight it in as it would be shot in the field. Just want to add how impressed I am with the T-MOA reticle in the Leupold. Really allows for precise aiming.

Nice set up! How do you find the element scope? Have been looking at these. Do u find the reticle fine enough? Clicks solid ect..? Im not a fan of a thick reticle, the one on my Nikon is too thick for my liking.

Well it's fair hosing down outside so no pretty backdrop but finally picked this up from the gunsmith today after buying it back off @hillclima thanks for looking after her till I came to my senses bud

Most of you know this rifle but for those who don't here's the specs.

    Sako a7 chambered in 270wsm
    Finnlight 24" fluted barrel
    Fluted bolt (gunworks)
    Stug carbon fiber stock
Javelin bipod with flush mount bedded into the fore
    Maniatis carbon Magnum suppressor
    Contessa 20moa rail
    Contessa 1" rings
Currently wearing a nikon monarch 4-16×44 but I have something new enroute from Oz (more about that later)
This rifle is a beast and best 3 shot group with my hand loads is .27"
Would also Iike to acknowledge a few good bastards on here that made this build possible. @Ryan_Songhurst @stug
    Zach from North Canterbury Gunsmithing
And the good buggers at Gunworks
