How does shot go out of rifled barrels? I imagine a big spread?

The left barrel rifling is straight therefore when you fire shot over power with cork or similar wads the wad locks into the rifling holding it in a straight line and to get her instead of spinning in a smooth bore, they say tighter pattern. I can also fire round ball from that barrel and will try Minnie's as well. The brass in the l.h barrel is 60 mm the r.h barrel brass is 50 mm both 28 g so will load the r.h barrel similar to a snider round. Bit of experimenting

My new crossover rifle arrived this morning care of NZ Hunter. They got it perfect again as per usual.

    6.5SAUM
    Rem 700 SA
    Bartlein Barrel 24"
    Mcmillan NZ Hunter stock
    NZ Hunter Brake
    March 2.5-25

It weights in at 3.5kg complete, its a nice weight, not to light in the forend for offhand shots like super lightweights can be. A quick ladder has 130VLD's at 3200fps.

Yours will be a nice setup to mate no doubt. Make sure you get a brake with yours. A light 7saum is a handful without one.
