Not many 30 cals about so this is a little different

I have had this rifle for a while but had issues with the action, even though it was new.....

I got it sorted a few weeks ago & just found some time to do more development with it...

Was originally a 300 Win mag.

It has all the usual lightweight firing pin & shroud, fluted bolt & barrel, T2 Terminator brake, 20 moa HD alloy rail.

With the Ex Rem Titanium stock it weighs 2.995 kilos, 6.6lbs

It pushes the 208 Amax at around 3100fps & the 230 OTM & Hybrids at around 2925fps

It is pretty accurate when I do my part properly

Ballisticly the 208s are only just behind the 162s out of the 7-375 at 1000 & the 230s are ahead of the 162

Did you source the stock yourself? It looks quite good, how does it grip?

Is it a factory barrel? You seem to get great results from them if it is?

bought Josh's 10/22 sent it straight to desert guns to get the action sorted so it would cycle as well as the atrocious trigger.

earlier model, factory threaded and all metal, no plastic fantastic. rings i got for $45 off trademe, couldnt say no even if they are tacticools, scope was also cheap, $150 from centerfire. now to get a good quality suppressor that does not have a spring and a boyds evolution stock.

    Hi all

Here is my cheapie project, a 7.62x39 Bushranger on sale at GC. Decided to have a bit of fun and see what popped out the other end.

Having made the muzzle brake I have now decided to replace that with a home brew suppressor which is partially completed

    cheers

+1 on the EVO stock, they are great. Plus you can get em in from Boyds for less than $200nz to your door.

Never thought I'd see the phrases "exacting standards" and AK47 used in the same sentence
Guess there is a first time for everything
