Got this for $1650 with 81 rounds of modern ammo fired 19 rounds from new and leather belt for the ammo. New price bare gun about $2300.00. They are a big, heavy rifle, will see how it hoots tomorrow. 500grain slug with about 65 grains FFG behind it, I doubt it will recoil with the weight of the barrel. Couldn't sling it across you back cause if you slipped and the barrel whacked you in the head, you'd be away with the fairies for a while

Not as dear as I thought. That is a big lead slug. How fast roughly?

It just so happens that I'm about to list a Pedersoli Trap Door Springfield 45/70 for sale. Left over from a deceased estate.
Flick me a PM if you're interested.
