    H&K 300 owners, I need your help!

I have a H&K 300 in 22 magnum and the arms that return the bolt have broken.

One has been welded the other has been made from a bit of sheet metal. The bolt return is challenged because from what I can determine the shape of the arms is somehow wrong and displaying incorrect geometry to properly return bolt to battery, (which is why it’s soft on close) if I could get replacement arms or originals to copy I’ll be away!

Otherwise she will be sold for scrap!

Ideally just the drop out trigger mechanism.

    I'll post a picture.

I need one of these to keep or copy the two silver return rods for the bolt.

A gunsmith I use refuses to fix these, I know of another with the same issue. Apparently they are a bit notorious for it.

You can see the two arms on this trigger group were repaired but I suspect they are not long enpugh as thebolt does not close all the way every time...

My mate, bought all the available H&K parts when NZ agent closed shop, years back. I’m seeing him tomorrow and I’ll ask.
Here’s a complete strip down of a model 300. It may be of some use

If it flies, floats or f#cks, your better off to rent it

Been to see my gunsmithy mate this evening. Unfortunately he has no arms for the H&K 300 model. Amongst the assorted array of parts that he does have are arms which are labelled H&K 990. I cannot find any H&K semiautomatic sporting rifle designated 990. They do appear to look like they would be too long for a rimfire model? Do you have any measurement of the length of the arms for the 300. Several times I have read that the 270 and 300 dimensions are identical. Although unlikely given the difference in length of the two rimfire cartridges I think this would be unlikely, however if this is the case, I would be able to send you my 270 trigger group For you to try and copy.
    Cheers MG
