    The rail attachment put me off for ages too. Once you have one you realise it's not in the way or a problem in the slightest, and QD is super handy. I prefer to carry the rifle with bipod detached and in pack, and attach it as needed for balance/handling reasons.

    See for work rifles I don't shag around like that. In fact it would be a real pain to do it.

    You don't actually have to remove it all the time just because it's QD.

    About the only thing I can think of that would improve the Atlas is if they came up with a QD option that could be used with an Anshultz rail instead of the picatinny.

    That other one doesn't have auto closing like the Harris does....
