    Henneberger mounts for Blaser

There’s a Henneberger quick detach mount for Blaser R8 etc for sale on TM. I’m wondering if anyone has experience they can share with this brand and/or this particular style mount. Not a huge amount of info on the web. They have a website which seems to be explaining (in German) that they’re very good. Funny that.

Never heard of them. Photos are bad and don't show much of the system.

    Friggen expensive as well.

It would have to be stronger, lighter and better than the original or after market mounts I have (x4)

Would like a look at one tho.

@R93 optics trade eu has better photos and a downloadable catalogue. I have a zruncho mount which is great but requires a hex key and I’m wishing I got a no tools required version now so looking at what’s available

I have 3 zruncho mounts that work the same but a bit lighter than the factory mount.

No tools apart from first fit are needed?
I have had a look at the Henneberger on a few sites.
Still would like a closer look but I am not sure what advantage they have over a factory or zruncho quick detach one considering the price.

    I love this quote

    "henneberger swift mount.
Can get easy and faster taken on / off than genuine blaser mount. "

I'm clearly wasting so much of my life with the standard Blaser and Innomounts !!!
They are so slow at maybe 5 seconds to fit and finish.
Just think what I could do with all the extra time if I could do it in half of that !

Cheers thanks for that. Reckon zruncho might be the way to go then. Or else, yeah just waste a whole extra 30 seconds of my life and stick to the ones I have! My main worry is forgetting that damn hex key

When hunting fringe country or bush I have a 2-7 on the rifle and happy using that out to 250ish if I have to. (very thick German 4)I always have my 5-25 in my day bag or pack where I can get to it quickly for a more deliberate shot. Takes me under 30 seconds to change them over from when I decide to take the pack off and do it.

I have never lost zero with either the factory or zruncho mounts since I have had the blaser.

Get the zruncho. You won't be disappointed and it won't sting as much money wise as a factory.

Having the quick change mounts are one of the things that make the blaser so practical.

You can shoot one load in close with a light low power scope or red dot.
A quick change to a higher mag scope and stretch your barrel with complete confidence.

Not sure. I haven't looked for one for a while.

Got mine off eBay ages ago. Way cheaper than I could get a factory one. Around $300ish back then

Thanks @R93 that just makes sooo much sense. Awesome. @Danny just go to ebay and search "blaser mount" one of the sellers who will come up is zruncho. He does clone Blaser mounts and they are as R93 says, just as good. I have a simple cheap zruncho mount which doesn't have the quick attach but is 100% repeatable. That's about $300 NZ. The quick release version which looks like a Blaser mount is about $450 NZ nowadays. @Jit has one of those which I've seen and it is very nicely made. Top quality and works just like a Blaser
