That would have to be the only time I have ever heard anyone say a hardy is more effective than a dpt. Have had two tikka 223's lined up beside each other shooting gongs, one wearing a dpt and the other a hardy and the dpt was noticeably quieter.
I have only owned gunworks and dpt suppresors and found both to function equally as good but the dpt is lighter and shorter, allthough I think the gunworks was probably designed to last a bit longer, the trade off for this was that you can easily just replace a shot out baffle on a dpt but a gunworks needs to go back to them to have baffles repaired or replaced.

Their 30 cal for the AR10 platform can be used on a bolt gun ok. I run 2 x 556 Samsons, 1 on a 223 bolt gun & AR15 other on a 6x45. Light weight with published decibel reading, also unique construction.

It would be on a 6.5 calibre.

Currently running a SSRNZ and it's very very good.

A mate who I took hunting last weekend loved it. He is looking into his FAL and wants a similar set up to mine... he wants a light carrying rifle though so the weight saving challenge is on.

I'm not the only person who doesn't rate DPT over hardy you'd be a chump to think so.

I have an ASE UTRA on my 284 and like it. The boys were very impressed on the noise reduction for size in the weekend. I'm sold, still have a hardy ony. 233 and 708

Well my MAE Compact on my 6.5x.284 does everything I need, is small & over barrel, cuts the noise really well and is stainless, yes it is more than likely heavier than most, but like Dougie said 'I don't want it to explode'...

More than welcome to check it out SS

What distance are you shooting out to with your 18" barrel?

Hi, I would recommend the SL5i in .25 calibre.

Very effective on 6.5 calibres and the new i-model SL5 is c. 60-70 grams lighter than the previous version.

Size does not always correlate in suppressors, there are quite a few suppressors on the market that are overtly large for the performance that they offer.

Not all small suppressors are very effective either.

Our suppressors have been measured with the correct sound pressure level equipment in house and if any independent tests are done again with the correct equipment, then the results are on par with our data.

    Best Regards!
