Thread: Hi tec stock failure

Has anybody had issues with this carbon stock and Ken’s lack of any warranty. I’ve had my 2 year old stock break through the grip with very little force.
After spraining my ankle I had to strap my 284w to my pack and using walking poles, I was as horrified when we reached camp and it was broken in half.

I absolutely baby this rifle. Only once did a small Manuka hook on the barrel, and I guess this is what has done the damage. What makes it worse as I’ve spent a week hunting a block with some of the best stags ive seen just being shot with the camera.

After calling Ken, and he admitting there has been a few broken stocks then having the nerve to tell me I’m hard on my gear, I would be very wary of his stocks.
