    Home made Zero Stops

Anyone doing it? Sightron, Zeiss etc??

Looking at a Z5 soon and see some of the American fullas are making their own zero stops from plastic washers etc shimming the turret. Interested to see if anyone here has dabbled. Not that its a must have but cant hurt aye what

    This one on a Sightron

ive turned shims to go under the turret. There is concern that if you crank too hard and hit the stop you could stretch your threads a little. i know where it stops and so if ive dialed lots. (.22 at 300) i then just approach the point slowly and if thats not the one then go fast around again.
