Thread: How does this fit In with the range of calibers

Sitting here bored in hospital so thought I'd start a discussion/can of worms thread. So my interest in rifles is for competition use and hunting use. Competitions shot are hunter class rifles and basr and max range is 200m although I have a going I play with at longer ranges just for fun. I run mainly 6.5 cal for some reason and see no need to change there. Winning comps isnt the be all and end all for I'm more about bettering myself and if I happen to get a place on the day that's just a nice bonus.ive been toying with the idea of dropping one or two rifles. The calibers I run are 6.5 06 which is a semi custom built rig, 6.5x55, 6.5g, 243, 223, 22hornet, 22rf. I have a few others but these are the ones mainly used. Thinking of dropping the 243 if the grendel proves just as accurate which wont be easy. Also 223 as well as the grendel could cover that base as well. The hornet is a good little shooter on the targets if theres no wind and good for beginners to use. Bit of a long winded spiel, gets boring fast in hospital....
