I used painters hand wipes, worked a treat & came up clean & dandy. Funny as when @BRADS rubs long black things he normally ends up getting a facial hahahaha

Sorry about the tape, but neoprene covers piss me off and that was fitted on a hunting rifle.
If all those wonderful solutions don't work there are wipes we use for removing elastoplast residue call Remove:
They work bloody great and one small wipe will remove a lot of sticky crap
