My first high powered rifle was a 243, old Parker hale safari, given to me by a mate of dads. Shot quite a few deer with it then upgraded, always wished I'd kept it.

I've just got my hands on another 243, a sako finnwolf, a rifle I've always wanted. It should arrive next week, will throw my spare Zeiss on it straight away and take it hunting! Can't wait!

Can never have enough toys, nor can you have too longer waits without a new toy arriving!
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

Totally agree with you Josh. Like your new avatar by the way.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Well, time for an update. Finally got the rifle to Gunworks where it had a Spartan fitted, along with purchasing some lead/copper sleeping tablets (reworded since someone doesn't like them being called pills ). TR chose a nice comfy sling as well. I've smoothed out the slot in the bolt to make it easier to close, put on an EGW rail, Weaver low rings and a nice wee Pentax scope. Damn, TR's rifle is better kitted out than mine now.

Nah, she can have this thing. It's too awkward with the bolt handle on the wrong side. Weird leftie.

TR's time as an advanced sniper is nigh. GM's time as a collector and carrier of TR's kills is soon to begin.

get it for her no need to suppress it if your worried about recoil put a limbsaver on it way cheaper then a suppressor
