Looking at doing a bedding job on a commercial Mauser action into a Boyds stock. Any ideas on what quantity of bedding compound to use? Good to get the shopping done and do the job over the break.

There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

I mix up about 20g of resin and 4 gram hardener and usually have some left over for an M98 style action. You might need less if the stock is already reasonably inletted and you are basically skim bedding.
The Devcon will be good.
Yep devcon is better. Have only used the big tub stuff though which is overkill to buy for one gun
Nathan foster has a kit for one rifle.
With Nathan kit, if you are bedding lightly the front and back of the action you can do two, maybe three rifles.
If you are doing a full action length bedding job then one kit will be more than enough.
