    What cal Toby?

    Some guns rust worse than others, there is no doubting that and it is bloody annoying when they spontaneously rust. Optilocks are some of the worst culprits...

    I have a Howa better than Tikka rifle in .308 which shoots .5" all day and is a genuine .5" rifle not just a forum brag!! Have outshot plenty of Tikka's

    yip the 243 I've mentioned is a cracker as well, 87gr hornady, easily groups well under the inch mark

    I have the 243 version with the bushnell scope and love it. it is heavier then some other rifles of the same price. and my bolt has the three holes in it havent had any issues with it at all.

    Rails =YUK! imho.

    Definitely different steels and blues are more susceptible to rust.
    Ss Tikkas are renound for it but that may be just because so many new shooters buy them and think they don't need cleaning because they are ss :rolleyes:

    Side by side in fland for 10days my Sako was starting to show a few light stains, my mates custom with Vulcan barrel was rusting like bare carbon steel on the outside in 24hours.
    "Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

    308Win One chambering to rule them all.
