    The new ones are much lighter. To be honest I wouldn't want my .308 any lighter.

    I'm liking mine stainless in 223rem hogue stock standard action (not the mini) 20inch barrel 1-9 twist.
    The pic below is from the 100m NZDA range CHC trying out ammo from various manufacturers/bullet weights.

    Top row left to right 2 shots to confirm zero Fiocchi 50gr / 5shot group PMC bronze 55gr fmjbt / 3shot group Hornady 75gr match BTHP
    Bottom row centre 4 shot group Winchester super x 64gr SP
