Not sure, my enquiry was about the 1500 short action. I found it a strange response considering my understanding was Ken had already inletted for the 1500 SA in the mini stock. I most likely assume incorrectly that they brought the machine tooling/moulding for that at the time they took over the business? Maybe they are taking the time to get a long action variant as well?

Im shooting a Howa Carbon wrapped in 6.5Creedmoor. Its my main PRS/long range gun It came in a KRG Bravo.

    Accurate? Yes, unbelievably.
Light? Yes, less than half the weight of my normal LR rigs

In a HS Precision stock it will weigh even less. Making it an awesome hunting rifle.

The barrel on mine might be on the long side for bush hunting though.

Mine is the ultralight that has the same stock but a fluted ultralight profile barrel.
My one weighs 3kg un suppressed which is pretty damn light, you could load the dirty 06 down to 308 performance and still have a bad ass longer range load as well.

Please note I'm not ragging on howas I own a mini and love it
Is that 3kg with a scope and bolt?

I made a stock for my Vangaurd (exactly the same action), basically copied my Howa Alpine stock. Stock weighs about 650 grams with a recoil pad. Wood is Paulownia, very easy to work with, did most of the shaping with sandpaper wrapped around different sized dowling. There is a thread on here somewhere about using it, its called "lockdown project" or something.
