With the supp just sitting on the threads there is definite flex/movement - just slight side to side movement. Not huge, but obviously enough to be an issue.
And with the tight bushing - zero movement - as in its so close in the bushing that its quite possibly touching - ie I can see marks on the barrel from screwing the suppressor on, scuffs around the bushing.
I'll try slipping some thin paper around it and test if there is any clearance - is no clearance a problem? Even if its shooting well?
I'm happy with it now and will shoot it until the suppressor dies, then replace with a DPT. Have a DPT on my 308 and its faultless.
I got the gun 2nd hand with the suppressor which was near new, so happy to persevere rather than just spend if I don't have too. Its just a goat gun and will have a heap of rounds through it, so I imagine the suppressor will not last very long.
