On youth rates wouldn't be much more, difference is back then you could survive on that money and have beer money left over.

Do I have to smush then into my eyeballs like the Yukon spotting scope, or are they a little more comfortable than that? I wasn't disappointed with the spotting scopes optics so I hope the binos are as good
Could be quite keen in a few days
The Yukon Futurus 8x40 have good eye relief, nice clear edge to edge image, rubber armoured aluminium chassis makes them pretty tough. I'll give a set to VietnamCam to take a look at on the forum hunt if he is keen, then you won't need to take my word for it.

We also give a 15% discount to forum members, and a 10 day satisfaction money back guarentee. What more do I need to do?...

Hi @GMH72. I have a pair of Olymups 10 x 25 WP2 waterproof binoculars that are surplus to requirements.
They are brand new in box with case and strap. Light weight and the optics seem very good.
RRP in NZ is $249 but you can have them for $120. PM me if you are interested.

Bought a pair of those about the same time and they finally gave up about a year ago. Great little binos though.
I was beginning to find that as my eyesight worsened (with age) the auto focus didn't seem as good. Funny that???

So how are you getting on here? I have been on the lookout to. At the mo looking at the Bushnell Legend, Leupold Cascade or Acadia now the Vortex... either 10x42 or 8x42??? I seem to bounce all over the place on this subject and not really gain any traction... Its good to hear what others are using in NZ especially.

Hi guys, I ended up getting a second hand pair of the Bushnell Legends 8x42. They are great to look through, nice to hold, maybe a little heavy but would have to compare them side by side to really see if they are that much heavier than something of a similar size. I think they are a few years old, the new ones weigh less. Very happy with the purchase.
