Between son and I we have 2x 243, 1 light & 1 heavy barrl, 223 varment barrel and 358 win lightish barrel all with 14x1
The 14x1 is marginal on the 358 being 9.1mm id giving a wall thickness at the root of the thread of around 1.4mm

15x1 is becoming the new 14x1 on a lot of rifles, starting with tikkas.

So thinking about that and trying to work within a budget. Would it be worth getting a 15x1 supressor, with the plan to cut the barrel down in the future seeing that my barrel is already 15x1 and thats the current thread on new tikkas?

GC seems to have mostly 14x1 on TM. If i could get a good deal.on a good 14x1 I'd likely concider it and cut the barrel down. Theres something for being common.
