    Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

    Perhaps the NF 2.5-10x32 with vanilla illum mil dot (cost no object remember)
    I think low light close range performance is more important for all round hunting in NZ.

    I have 50mm,Its coming off for under canopy.

    Any old .223 bolt action with a short barrel and a suppressor would do me, I do 99% of my hunting with one of these. All my other hunting I do with other rifles/calibres or bows is just for fun.
