Unfortunately no - the regs on firearm parts don't seem to be eased. I have yet to see any clear indications in this area - our government is loath to make info on this easily accessible.

Palehorse got back to me, more than happy to do it. Export permit thing is $200 which was expected but freight for 2x barrel is $678 usd which does seem a bit... that would being each barrel to roughly $2500nzd after gst etc. Puts it roughly on par with buying a 2nd hand one, chopping it and getting a custom threaded in
