    I have some of that rubber dip stuff that I use on tools-I assume it's the same stuff that is being suggested.

    One of the things I like about the carbon tube is it's fairly light and the rubber dip stuff would add much more weight than I would really like on something that is intended to be carried a lot more than fired.

    I have considered just drilling a pile of holes in it to add grip.

    Just get a bicycle tube, cut neatly and stretch over, works mint. Good grip too
