Kiwi made howa mini bottom metal

I've put a far amount of time into getting theses where I think they are good to go.
No more dropping factory mags accidentally. The release is built to be enclosed and protected. It also is obvious when not engaged. Torque won't crack them like factory plastic version.

Next will be to take my own flush mag design.

    Cheers

Mine arrive and is fitted to rifle. Super stoked with it. Factory mag needed a tiny tweak to fit. Mag is locked in tight and not all loose like it was Factory plastic version. I haven't been to range but have run over 100 rounds through with 100% reliable feeding; which is certainly better than the full Factory version. The mag catch is.a huge improvement.

I haven't fitted mine but both my 223 and my 7.62 mags fit without any trimming or modification. My shortened 7.62 mag is a gnats whisker too short and doesn't quite latch. I think a light trim of the mag floorplate will sort that though.

Any chance you would look into a flush/hinged floor plate version in the future?

I'm planning to do something down that road. Likely a mag that's flush though.
