Off topic subjects are intended to be an asset to this Forum, often as light hearted engaging conversation.

If at times you find something inappropriate then report it, don't insult the person, don't get involved, just report it to Admin, they will sort it, behind the scenes, at the appropriate time, it might not be at a time that suits you, but it will have been assessed and sorted.

The NZHS Forum aims to provide a mature environment which promotes legal, responsible firearms practises. The discussion or promotion of illegal activities is prohibited and members may not post abusive, defamatory or otherwise objectionable content - this includes any grieviences with authorities or firearms dealers, as such matters are best kept between the parties involved.

Again this Forum is not the place to raise these problems AS THEY CANNOT BE SOLVED HERE. Take it up with the vendor, Consumer affairs or whatever Administrative Tribunal is appropriate.

I think maybe this is why it was posted.

It was heading that way wasnt it..

Want to make it clear, this was never having a go at wingman, his work, or these amazing chassis setups as a whole. Unfortunately i have been given the run around by dave / shooter ready, as have many others it seems. Hopefully theres enough information here for people genuinely interested in these to bypass full of shit dave & get in touch with the right people regarding getting their hands on one.

As of this morning have contacted & requested a refund. Fingers crossed they do the right thing.

Is "Shooter Ready" the only ordering and retail outlet for these neat little things?

I believe so currently, unfortunately. Someone more in the know may want to chime in but i believe it is possible to source them elsewhere.

Howdy gents, shallow first post lol. Does anyone know if these things are going to be available to the US? I'm not sure if you guys have similar regulations like we have with ITAR that prohibits stuff going across the pond. I would love to get my hands on one of these chassis's!

Appreciate any info you guys can provide.....and I'm jealous that you guys can buy moderators/suppressors without the BS we have to go through.

Settled on this basic configuration at this stage. Will add a couple of minor bits and pieces but as it stands , it’s perfect. All up it weighs in at 2.5kg and balances beautifully. Wasn’t sure about the red dot initially, as I’ve had no experience with them, but on the red cross setting, despite a bit of aberration with my dodgy right eye, both eyes open I don’t even notice. Radically different to anything I’ve ever shot before and a world away from my BSA P14 project.
Any suggestions on sighting in would be appreciated.

Deadline for refund been and gone, managed to get dave on the phone this afternoon as a last ditch effort to get my money back & he just proceeded to belittle me, laugh at me & try swing it around like im the one in the wrong, then throw wingman under the bus. Never in my life have i experienced such shocking customer service & unprofessionalism. Now the hassle of disputes tribunal & all that entails to attempt to recover some cost.

Admins can delete this post or ban me if they want beyond giving a crap at this point, people deserve to know what this guy is really like. Its a shame that more people havent spoken up about this sorta stuff earlier, i may have been able to avoid all this if i had known better but it appears most that were unhappy with daves service have failed to speak of it on here or leave honest reviews on any online platforms. If your wanting one of these rifles i strongly recommend you steer clear of Dave & Shooter Ready, get in contact directly with robhughes-games on here.
