    Leather covered recoil pads

Who does a very good job of them?

Gaskill doesn't do leather pads, and I can't get hold of Lawrence Bradley.

    Cheers.

Just use Pachmayr Old English pads, get the leather covered look with all the advantages of modern neoprene, available in black, brown and orange/red.

Why use walnut - just use a synthetic stock, hydro-dipped in a wood grain pattern. It's got all the advantages of plastic...

I've thought about getting one for a lever action Marlin SBL type rifle, would suit it. I would be interested to know if there is a leather one that reduces recoil like a limbsaver.

@tanqueray did you really have to revive this train wreck, and prove to everyone how incompetent I am at creating functional threads? Lets bury this one once and for all. You bring the shovel and I'll bring some duct tape.
