Don't get so down on being a lefty. You are one of the chosen ones. Good looking, intelligent as well as an all round good guy.
Plenty of second hand lefties around usually. Don't go RH if you can help it. It sucks (from 1st hand experience).
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Im a lefty ,and to tell you the truth im quite happy using righthanded shotties, rifles etc.did the same throughout my TF careerand with a few wee adaptions ,no sweat.
M-16 did cost me a scar on my jaw from a hot ejected shell caught in my bloodbucket strap ,but therowing shoulder forward ala 12g style fixed that.SLR-do all drills (R)handed , before firing into (L)shoulder and way we go.
bren guns-defintely not for lefties-try it lefthanded you looklike a randy octopus interefering with yourself.Ive fired a lefty12g and frankly it felt a little strange.
anyhow whatever you do ,hope you enjoy it and finally welcome on board.
BTW-gadeget has gotten over his chagrinat seeing asweet leftie clean his clogs targetwise.ya got watch young timerider.

my father shoots left handed, (but is a righted normally) and uses solely right handed rifles, he was a culler for years

just watch out for the right handed stocks with the lump on the left side,

Tikka make plenty of them, they often come up on trademe for a steal

You want regret going left hand. Best change I ever made. The savage sounds like a great buy
